The all encompassing BNP thread - keep all crap in here.

What do you mean we have plenty of land? We are one of the most densely populated countries on earth. People need space to live a quality life, not to be packed in like bloody sardines.

Do you live down south or in a city? Scotland, Wales and most of northern England have more than enough room don't be ridiculous!

York is a medieval city (ex-capital of England / the world :D) that only alongside Cheltenham is considered to match the southern 'quality' of life. Although apparantly York is a labour stronghold due to many working class and immignts. However you would think it is conservative, even so despite the huge amounts of polish round here i have only seen about 2 or 3 the whole tiem i've been here. People are making waaay too much bigger deal over immigration and in its current state it is doing more good than bad IMO.

Hence most decent political parties mostly agreeing with the current status to a point.

I also hope you realise that many Eu countires have a lot more immigration than we do, and i dont think they seem to have lost character or patriotism nor are they doing badly economy wise.

There is a reason that no body lives there though isn't there?? Poor roads, amenities and very few jobs outside the local authority, farming and fishing...

I think it is good that this country provides a safe haven to refugees and can even provide a home to foreigners. I think that it brings a roundness to society which we can all benefit.

I specifically said England, because England as opposed to Britain is one of the most densely populated countries in the world. Most UK residents live in England.

Where i live. YORSKHIRE!!!YORKSHIRE!!! there is more than enough room and we have the most immigrants so i say 'CYA!' to that argument :p

The UK is the place where most immigrants head for, especially immigrants who want to freeload because the UK is well known as a soft touch throughout the world, the land of milk and honey where you get a free home and free healthcare, and where even failed asylum seekers or other illegal immigrants are usually not deported even when caught.

If you don't think we are a crowded country with congested roads etc then we will have to agree to differ because my experience is different. I remember my town being significantly less crowded even in my short lifetime. In that time I have seen increasing parts of the local countryside be built upon, and I have seen increasing numbers of immigrants from the likes of Pakistan and Poland change the demographic of my area.

A 'roundness to society'... what is that?

How do we benefit from being overcrowded?

How do we benefit from having a shortage of housing?

How do we benefit from building on more and more of our countryside to accommodate our ever increasing population?

For now none of those are worries. It will take a looooong time before your points start to become an issue by which time hopefully we will have stabilised out how many jobs in different career paths there are and generally be more sorted.

Cheaper labour is only agood thing IMO. It all evens out, yes we may invite them over here and give them helping benefits in A FEW cases, but even so inreturn they are doing cheap diorty jobs for us that a lot of people aren't prepared to do anymore, thus increasing our quality of life and meaning we have more expendable income in return for the taxes that give them a tiny helping hand.

Changing demographics do not concern me. I dont think bradford was anywhere special before half of it was taken over with asian origin people.

and what about the BRITISH people who want a labouring job. I was looking for one last year to tie me over for a bit in the summer and wanted to be outside and doing something with a bit of effort rather than in macdonalds. But when i visited local builders they were either full of unskilled labour or they were recruiting polish only because the managers were polish. Have friends looking to get into the industry with the same problem not everyone wants to work in a bank or in retail..

Really, well in my own area a lot of places which used to be woods and fields are now housing estates and business parks.

Cheaper labour is only agood thing IMO.
Is it? Keeping our own people in poverty by making them compete with immigrant labour, which only benefits business and the immigrants themselves. I don't think that's a good thing at all.

according to wiki we are the 50th most densely populated country

Yes but the majority of countries listed are nowhere near our size they are pretty much one city, and many of the other countries are facing the same problem as us.

you also said we are a tiny island
should the party be renamed ENP?

its only the south east England that can be described as over crowded

We aren't going to be building many homes in the Highlands, Snowdonia or the lake/peak districts etc. any time soon, do you think?

Is anyone going to answer my question? I came to the UK nearly 5 years ago and I've been a citizen for 3 years. If the BNP were in power, would they send me back home?

no:rolleyes: why would they. it probably would have been harder for you to enter the UK in the first place unless you had skills we need. You know like the majority of places in the world?

I'll be the first to agree that the UK is overcrowded and needs far stricter immigration controls. But speaking as an immigrant myself, I want to know where all these wonderful benefits are, because I didn't receive any of them when I came here nearly 5 years ago.

I was not given a free home (not even a council house; I wasn't eligible). I did not receive any benefits (I wasn't eligible). I did not receive jobseekers' allowance (I wasn't eligible). I was able to use the NHS, but only because my home country has a reciprocal agreement with the UK.

So tell me please, how was I supposed to get all these great benefits? Did I miss something? Is there a trick to it?
