Ok so hai everyone, so finally I got my funds together and spent the bulk of the money here on ocuk. Just need to sort out the graphics card.
Anyway i'll update this with MOAR pictures as soon as they arrive.

System Goal - To be my high performance desktop system, for work, games, video encoding and pure Overclocking goodness ;)

CPU - Q6600
Motherboard - Foxconn Blackops (will be putting the P06 bios on there)
RAM - Unbuffered CL7 DIMM Intel Extreme Edition (OCZ3X16004GK)
Case - Silverstone Fortress
GFX card - (undecided as i only have about £120 left and DX11 is coming soon... I was thinking xXx4850?)
Sound card - Onboard
PSU - Coolermaster RealPowerPro 850W

This all came a day early! My awesome Neighbors (without asking) were holding all this stuff for me, as I was in college at the time.

Looking in the wee portholes, you can see the board and the watercooled NB.
I must say this is the most amazingly packaged item i have ever bought. The whole think looks ****ing class and really makes it feel special! Cable ties, dog tags with some kinda number engraved in them... Maybe the 'xxxxth board made? lol'
6 sata cables - 3 right angles - 3 normal. and SO MUCH MOAR!!!
:D
Well i guess thats what you expect from a £300 motherboard...

I must say I have been grinning all day because of this board :D:D:D. This really is the best bundle, packaged item i have ever purchased.

Thats all now, but sure i'll update this post with more pictures and my experience of the whole build, if anyone is interested. Its always nice to see a few appreciating comments. Most of my friends have ZERO interest in this kinda thing lol

Oh PS the CPU cooler is an OCZ Vendetta 2 (highly recommend)
Thanks all!

Hehe, I know its stupid, but I have always wanted one.
I saw a lot of 9800GX2's on the '* bay' for around £100. If the max i was gonna bid was £125 does that sound like a fair price?

Even the best brand/condition ones IMO aren't worth more than £120incl max.

Then i'll go no further than 110... Although I saw another go for £200... So I'm pretty sure this will go for a few quid as well...:o
I find people spend more on *bay items than they are really worth...

Ok so the system is finally finished. (in terms of a stable stock build)
OCCT - running for 7 hours all passed and apparently ok

So here the 4850 i decided to get came on friday.

I didnt take any pictures during the build, as it was very stressful lol

Mounting that cooler on the board was HELL... I wish to god i had spent the extra few quid on a mounting plate instead of using intel's stupid pin system...

Then when i finally got it on i realized it was on the wrong way...
There was a lot of swearing after that :D

Could you post some pics of the case internals in day light? I'm looking at getting a fortress myself. Thanks
