there was gameplay footage in there.at one point it says at the top of the screen checkpoint reached. hope it all looks that good, graphics look a improvement to

One of the most appealing aspects of MW1 was playing as SAS, with British soldiers. I'm not being sappy here, but because of their nationality I felt some sort of connection with them. I actually gave a **** about Soap, Price and Gaz.

Up until MW1 I'd always played a Yank that saved the day in WW2. I was getting a bit bored of hearing soldiers say "damn right" and "whoo-hoo, Uncle Sam says hi". MW1 was really refreshing because I empathised with the characters more.

Yeah, I know what you mean.

There was a quote made by a vet of WW2 on Band of Brothers that went sort of like this..

Young boy: Grandad, were you a hero in the war?
Grandad: No, but I served with heroes.

What the Grandad means here is that the people who gave their lives for freedom were the true heroes of the war, because they made the ultimate sacrifice, so that the survivors could have a better quality of life. (Thats not to say the survivors aren't heroes either though).

And although a computer game couldn't ever convey the harsh realities of war -properly-, the developers know they have to try. The deaths in the end sequence of MW were sadly necessary, because the message that war = loss has to get across.

You need to play through the entire game to see if they'll be in the next one
