Steam stuck on "Download starting..."

Hey
I was downloading Prince of Persia all night. Got up to 90% and then I played TF2 in the morning, so the download paused. Since then I have not been able to get it to resume. When I click Launch it says "Steam servers is too busy to handle your request".

I've tried changing my region, my download speed, restarting steam and pausing and unpausing.

Mine did that with dow winter assault, I left it there for ages and it seemed to fix itself :confused:

close steam

check processes tab to see steam process is ended

delete ClientRegistry.blob from your steam folder

restart steam
