Exodus Tyson, the 4-year-old daughter of former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson is in critical condition at a Phoenix hospital after her 7-year-old brother found her hanging from a cord from an exercise treadmill.

Exodus is on life support and in extremely critical condition, according to a statement released by the Phoenix police department.

Phoenix Police Sgt. Andy Hill told ABC News affiliate KNXV-TV it appeared that the treadmill cord had been wrapped around the child's neck.

The incident occurred while the child's mother was cleaning the house and the toddler was playing in a playroom, according to a statement from Phoenix police.

When the 34-year-old woman sent her 7-year-old son to see what little Exodus was doing, the boy found her "in distress," the police statement said.

He called his mother, who found her on a treadmill with a cable that was attached to the exercise machine wrapped around her neck, police said.

Police said the child's mother ran into the room, freed her from the cord, called 911 and then started CPR.

That's terrible, hope the kid is OK.

However I am forced to ask in the same manner I asked in the BB star thread. Why is this news?

It's aweful and all and I realy do hope th kid pulls through but why should trhe world know?

because mike tyson is a famous figure already fallen from grace...

I mean did you ask that question when diana died? I mean a lot of people have some respect for mike tysons accomplishments and are sad to see him in his current state of affairs (albeit his own fault) and this too is not good.

Diana was a princess, that comparison is aweful. Thing is, this isn't Mike Tyson, it's his daughter.
 
How the hell did she manage that? Also arnt those cords meant to come off and stop the treadmill if this sort of thing happens?

I'm going to put my vote on cover up, son playing with girl unsupervised, does something stupid and mother changes story slightly.

and the fact she was a princess is relevant how? I had more interest on mike tysons life than I did dianas.

personal opinion when it boils down to it. But to blow the thread off because you arent interested is trolling tbh. and its the second time too. If your not interested in the thread. Don't post in it.

if it makes one person rethink the health and safety in their house and potentially save another life its worth it being news...

As above I thought these cords were supposed to detach - I know mine does.

Right, so I question why the media reports stuff like this and I'm trolling.

You say your interested in Mike Tyson, great, my point is that he wasn't even in the state at the time. So why does this relate to him?
 
Wow didnt realise that Tyson had a child for a start. Hope she pulls through though...sounds pretty nasty.
