China bridge jumper 'gets a push'

Well if there was an air cushion and he wasn't going to jump or get down then something needed to be done to resolve the situation.

He was only going to jump 8 metres? How would that do anything? Sounds a bit small.

Youve got to appreciate that the average chinese person is about 2 foot tall at the most, that bridge is like the CN Tower to them :>

Suicidal chap gets a helping hand

I may be trundling off to the depths of hell for laughing at this, but see if you can watch it without giggling!

"Retired soldier Lai Jiansheng, 66, reached out to shake the hand of Chen Fuchao...... "

Good old CPLA - not ones for messing around are they? :p

Brilliant! This guy deserves a medal.

Attention seeking indecisive time waster, if you don't have the stones to jump, don't clime.

Pea roast of a crap story. :(
Bridge was like 8 feet off the ground what happened to the Dude ? Did he sprain his ankle.

Why was a passer-by up there anyway

Because he's ex-Chinese army, and they dont take kindly to wimps getting loads of attention and not actually carrying out the threats!

I did search, but didnt find anything on this.

So come on, who laughed? :D

I laughed a bit, he just jumps on the brige while the other guys are in a cherry picker talks to him thinks well screw this and pushes him !:P
