So this is twice now I've seen an advertisement on bravo for something called TNA sacrifice, Now i don't watch wrestling, But some dude on the advert is definately dressed up as a character from Gear of War. Any ideas as to the reason behind this? Is he a voice over in the game? is it a hint towards to the movie? Or is it just a wrestling thing.

It's just a advert for a wrestling event and they've (TNA) chosen to base it on GEARS

Effectively there's nothing to it

Wrong.

They're saying what they do for a living isn't a game and that they do get hurt. The event isn't based on Gears or anything.

Didn't say the event did have anything to do with Gears. I said to hype the event they've chosen to base and advert on it

That's not what Tom said, he's saying that TNA chose to base the advert on gears. Not the event itself.

It is wierd though, I mean is it okay to blatently use something such as Gears to advertise your own event that's not related?
