I know you guys like the M6 so much, so this is what i spent my day doing.

One busy day, a good friend purchased this car about 3 months ago now, and was badly in need of some TLC.
Step in me. I've just spent around 7 hours on the car in total, and what a car !!!!

Started with a snow foam, 2bm, clay, 2bm. It was then brought inside for to dried and the paintwork assessed.

The engine needed some APC and arrogated

The paintwork was fairly dull

And the exhaust needed some wirewool and autosol

One the engine was sorted, i used the g220 for polish, seal, and 3 layers of wax.

Anyway enough talking, here at the finished pictures. Sorry there is no 50/50's etc but there was so much to do.

Was it bring a chav to work day?

j/k, nice work. I hate the colour of the car, bet it looks nicer in daylight but it's a bit lesbian for a drug dealers car tbh. Looks like a nice finish, esp with those exhausts.

They where everywhere, it's his factory the owner of the M6, i had to do it in the main hanger where they were doing production. It was break time, and they though it funny to hit each other with wet mops :(

I cant believe how new cars, especially prestige ones should need this kind of work doing to it.

How can they get away with providing cheap paintworks to begin with ?

It's not cheap paintwork in some cases, it's just that they've not been washed correctly, dealers using sponges etc.

Oh my Dad used to have one of those, in black. Nice car, astonishing engine ...although that one is not the colour I would have chosen. Fastest car I have ever been in or driven and I imagine it will be for a long time.

If you drive them 'properly' even once a week, the rear tyres don't last very long and they are eye wateringly expensive :D

The interior isn't actually as bad as those pictures make it look, to be fair, it's rather well made and all the carbon fibre is real of course. It suites the car anyway. I would say that it looks much better without that pale grey plastic though, all black is much better, or black with some contrasting red leather.

If it was 'trying hard' to impress, BMW wouldn't have used a standard 6 series interior with a load of carbon fibre stuck on :D ...imho of course. The impressive bit is the rest of the car really.
