Yeah, I opened my Easter egg from my dad on Monday (a big Maltesers egg with a couple of bags of sweets) and it was an off white colour and smelt like poo. It had clearly gone off, I thought hmm this is odd but when I looked at the best before date it said that it was the 7th June this year. So I decided that I wasn't happy with it and went to send it back. I've never done this so hopefully they'll replace it. Only thing is that the address is:

Freepost
Mars
Consumercare

That's it?? Is that not a bit strange, even the woman at the post office said that it was an odd address - and it's the one on the back and on the website..

Has anyone else sent anything to Mars before and what happened? I hope I'll get free chocolate but if they don't get it due to the address being odd I've a proof of sending and I'll claim for the contents. Will post an update if anything happens, just wondered if anyones done that or a similar thing?
 
Odd example, but You've Been Framed's address for sending hilarious home videos used to just be 'You've Been Framed'. So I guess it's feasible.
 
You usually will get some free vouchers and stuff. I expect the address will be on there website.
Also it hasn't gone of you have left it in place that is to warm.

Also what are you sending back usually a pic and a letter/email is all you need.

I only sent it all because it was freepost really. But it's been in a cool dark cupboard in my room which is constantly aired and cool, on the not sunny side of the house. That's what was odd about it its always freezing and chocolate normally keeps well in there.
 
It's possible it was incorrectly stored before before you were given it


My local co-op used to have a bad habit of storing in areas that were too warm
