Is it worth paying extra for this on a new car or is it a bit of a con?

Can't seem to find any information on Google.

Autoglym Lifeshine i think its called, like that other thing supaguard or other you can get it off ebay cheap and do it yourself i believe.

I got supaguard on mine, complete waste of time. Some local cowboys came and smeared on the stuff on to my brand new car. 6 months later I detailed the car properly, stripping it of all the crap they had put on and been detailing it since. Save your money, buy some proper gear and make your car look good yourself.
