I doubt anyone can guess the car from just the sound clip.

It could be any number of turbo charged super cars.

It's a Turbo Charged inline five, so likely some sort of Audi or Volvo.

Doesn't sound like your usual Audi Turbo lump to me, loads more spool noise than normal, could just be the engine in these first time i've heard one.

Gotya. Could just have an open cone filter or something on there.

Definitely didn't sound like a dump valve or external wastegate though.
