New car - Bargain of the year ??

How does it drive? I ask as a mate of mine got a 51 Plate one of these for £450, it turned out to be a rather shagged out ex-taxi.

Either way, £400 is a bargain assuming its not a ringer!

Drives fine , Nice and easy to drive to be honest .

Found the engine and its not inflatable either :p

whoa, absolute bargain. Hopefully there's nothing nasty lurking around the car.

*Goes on the hunt for a £3k e46 M3*

Does anyone have any idea what these are ? It does have an old nokia hands free kit installed and maybe they are both to do with that but I have no idea

That keypad is aftermarket imobaliser, you can use it if you loose the fob and program new keys. (You can with some Sigma alarms) there should be a 4 number pin code with the alarm documents

The socket could be for the Nokia hands-free kit you mentioned I suppose, seems likely anyway.

My Mondeo has a 3.5mm auxiliary socket for the stereo in the glove box, so you can connect an mp3 player or something, I don't know if the pre facelift Mk3's have them or not, I guess it could possibly just be an auxiliary socket if it's not for the phone. Although the location seems very odd if it is.

The hands free kit had a cradle for the phone , I tried plugging in a 3.5mm plug but the plug was to small so maybe a 5mm as if it was put in when the car was new in 2001 maybe they used those more then .

I managed to sort a few niggles out like the 12v input wasnt working and the glove box light was not working either .
