Hooning.

Lovely and warm still - empty(ish) roads - other cars out for a play

Saw two Gallardos out for a hoon, an MR2 and a Porsche of some kind.

was anyone else out hooning tonight?

nice quiet drive back home, but saw a lot of very nice machinery on the way back. Might got for a quick drive in the mr2 actually, hmmm...

Computer or the dial?

My computer doesn't show MPG (got the 18 button one, just need some cables and I can fit it), but the dial is hilarious fun...especially as I can actually hit redline.

Went out for a blat on the RSV at lunchtime today. Roads were empty - Scottish Cup final day today. Perfect time to go out and do some hooning/blatting and I wasn't the only one to think so judging by the amount of not only bikers but cyclists I saw on my travels this afternoon.

How I love large scale sporting events that I'm completely uninterested in.

The OBC thingy I mean. (Consum1 is currently 17mpg, Consum2 is about 25mpg) I love re-setting it on dual carriageways, it'll sit around 55mpg & then drop like a stone....

I'm impressed you've got 17MPG out of it...unless that's on a short run. Over a tank I get around 28MPG with hard driving and motorway cruising.

It normally hovers around 25mpg (cons1) went for a "girlfriend argument fuelled" thrash out in the sticks this afternoon and 17mpg average was the end result.

When i test drove the car before i bought it, the battery was flat so obviously the OBC was reset, after about 10 miles it read 7MPG I was proud and worried about that in equal measure.....
