Lincoln - Lights In The Sky

Hey All,

About 40 mins ago we were out in the garden and we saw lots of lights in the sky, watched for a while as they moved around, then went into the street. Lots of people were stood staring at them talking about aliens and the like so we decided to walk up the hill... however they were gone by the time we got to a good view point.

Just wondering if anyone else saw these, and if anyone knows what they were?

They were just bright lights, lots of them all floating by.

With the era of camera phones its almost unbelievable someone didnt snap a crappy photo.

Yes, but just got blury lights, not got a decent camera between us for night pictures.

I am interested to find out what these were, if there was some kind of lantern festival etc.... I do have pictures but they are not worthwhile posting.

I think I saw the same lights as well (roughly 40 minutes ago) :eek:

What colour were they? The ones I saw were bright orange.

Ours were a warm sunny orange.

They're not UFOs, they're brain cells that have seeped away from my brain glowing bright orange as they escape my head after reading threads on OCUK.

Good grief, what's the matter with you lot...the OP said he saw lights in the sky...did he say it was aliens? No.

I'd be interested to see the pictures, I'd be interested to know what it was, the floating lanterns seem to be a relatively new thing over here and it would be interesting if that's what it looks like.

It's the greys, they have been visiting here for a long long time, they have been abducting people and gaining DNA so that they can stop their race from dyeing out. Some people think that they are us from the future and due to destroying our planet that we can't breed anymore and they travel back in time to obtain DNA to clone humans.

Out of curiosity what part of the country do you live?

Anyhow this is a picture I've nicked from google, they looked somewhat like this (the 3 on the top left)-

The ones I saw were more orange though. They could well have been floating lanterns.
