PS. I did love the look of the fake psp2 - square one - that would have been equally unergonomical(fake word?) but would look fantastic

dont see why it will be any more uncomfortable to use than any of the slideout keypad mobile phones and i rarely see people moaning about them

That's because you only send quick messages etc with those. You don't spend (or rather attempt to and fail due to thumb crippling pain) an hour using them to play a game.

Looks a bit like the design of Sony MyLo that you can get in the USA.

Bit rubbish picking a new memory card slot tbh, They could have picked one of the larger Memory Stick variants and used adaptors for the new micro cards.

I sold my PSP-2000 a couple of months ago. See no reason here to buy a new one.

The controls should have come out from the sides as said earlier, Miles better design that would have been. That analogue stick looks horrendous

Looks ok, doesn't look as good as the fan made version (by a long shot), I'll probably end up buying it as I'm a sucker for any type of console/handheld. Would've thought they'd make the screens with AMOLED (unless they have).

Wonder how long it took them to come up with the idea of sticking an LCD screen onto a NES pad, I hate mobile gaming and its gone beyond gaming to some sort of multimedia mega hypoglobal market franchise.

Gone are the days of 2 gameboys games all summer long.

I really like the idea, but they haven't done it very well. It reminds me of a hand held that would have been made in the PS2 era, or even before then.

If they make it a bit prettier then I'll be tempted - downloadable games sounds pretty good, UMDs are annoying.

Reminds me of a tacky Chinese fake or something. I think a big problem is the placement of the start/select buttons - they need to be side by side and nice and small just like on the PSP.
