Anyone know the name of this film ?

Ive been looking for this film for ages and ages but have forgotten the name of the film.Here are some clues its from the 60s/70s features a Ford Gt40 which is driven by some kids and is chased by the police in the middle of Usa somewhere.I think it ends with them crashing head on into something im not 100% sure.Im sorry if its a bit vaig but it was years ago since i saw it, i cant remember any of the actors/actress names.

Its not a Ford GT40, its a Dodge Charger and the guy is called Kowalski in the film The film your more than likely going on about is called Vanishing Point.

It had a black radio presenter in it that tells him where all the police blockades etc are? and yes, he crashes into a bulldozer and dies at the end.
