Is the nifty fifty a 50mm 1.4 or a 1.8?

I am in the process of looking for one for my D60 and was wondering what sort of prices I should be looking at?

I am purely looking for 2nd hand, they are cheaper, usually in just as good a condition as new lenses and it will allow me to buy more

its used with reference to the 1.8 since its a cheap but great lens at sub 100. Obviously the 1.4 is that bit more expensive.

Neither, to be precise it is the Canon 50mm f/1.8...

good glass holds its value well, i've not seen any significant savings on buying 2nd hand.

you realise that with the 50mm f/1.8 you're going to have manual focus because the d60 has no in-body focus motor

I think you can get one for around £60-70 now, they seem to have increased in value from around £50 when I got mine

Manual focus isn't an issue for me, more than happy to do it manually.
