Not sure why people are saying 'ah thats rubbish - can get cheaper selling privately etc' - of course... you pay a price for the convenience of getting the cash asap and doing little / no work!
Just weigh up the odds :)

Erm.... just been quoted £7495.

Consider someone on here sold theirs within a couple of days for £2500 more with the exact spec and with more mileage. Thats pretty far off I'd say.

£215 for a 1997 Toyota Starlet with 91k... I guess that's not bad, although, it's kinda in need of new:
Fuel Tank (leaks past 50% full)
Alloys (corroded, leak air overnight)
Manifold Heat Shield (rattles like nothing on earth, even when stationary)
:)

You probably lost at least 3 grand when you ticked the 'red calipers' box. :D

Well, it says my car is worth £12k. Or at least, that is what they will give me for it.

To tell them to go and shaft themselves would be far too kind in my eyes!

I tried them to see what sort of value they put on my (now sold :)) renault megane. I reckoned the value to be around £2-2200 mark though in the present climate i priced it at £1795.

Webuyanycar.com would have given £550, so needless to say i didnt use them :p
