BT waive reconnection fee until 30th June

Just a heads up for anyone who wants to move away from Virgin or whoever - apparently BT are waiving their £122 connection fee until the end of June if you sign up an 18 month contract on the Unlimited Weekend Plan, the Unlimited Evening and Weekend Plan or the Unlimited anytime plan.

As long as you still have a BT socket in your house, it never cost this anyway, it was free as long as you stay in a 12 month contract.

Damn i just had a phone line installed 5 months back, but after BT never turned up on 6 occasions i only paid £45.

That was £45 more than i wanted to pay aswell.

If the line was deactivated less than 6 months ago and/or there was still a dial tone (i.e. no engineer work required), it was free.

Finally took the plunge this time around & ordered the line & Unlimited Evening & Weekend Plan at no extra cost. Waiting for BT now then I can think about getting Sky BB installed!
