I just entered the details of my 03 320i se, £750 more than i paid for it last month and that was being 100% honest about the dent in wing and bonnet needing respraying however as others have said what they offer you and what they give you would be a different matter!
 
Amazing the amount of people who are suprised to be offered peanuts for old bangers...

They do have overheads and have to make a profit somehow - if your car's only worth 500 quid at auction, of course they're only going to offer you 75 quid....
 
they offered me ~£500 more for mine than i paid for it a couple of months ago too :confused: i do wonder how much they would try and knock me down on it though...
 
Well thay just valued my car for a massive £50 :eek: its worth more than that as scrap. :(

checking autotrader they seem to be selling for around £500.:rolleyes:

See my post above, thats exactly my point. Why would they buy it for what they are selling for?

Sue them for false advertising and get that advert off the tele. totally does my head in.

they offered me 1900 for mine, paid 2 grand exactly about 4 months ago.
