surprised theres not been a rush of entries this past few days. been some lovely conditions for golden photography

i can just about make out afew bushes so yeah my monitor must be too dark

Yeah looks very odd on mine too? looks like you have layered a black and white image at the top of your coloured image?
Its prob either my eye's or monitor, i am getting on a bit
Well, I had the Brecon Beacons, Gower Peninsula and Pembrokeshire to go at this month. One of the first things I thought about after the five-hour drive home today was to make sure I got my entry in! It wasn't a tough choice to make as only two of the nights I went out had decent weather/produced any satisfactory results. I waited for an hour in the same spot for my entry. It's a good job I didn't enter one from the Gower, I could have lost points for some terrible pun, like calling it "The Golden Gower". 
I was also wandering whether the capabilities of individual cameras are taken into account during the judging? What I mean is minimum ISO (e.g. mine has 80), minimum aperture (mine has 8.0) etc. I wouldn't expect so as it would mean the judges would have to look up the details of every camera entered, but then this might negate the point of submitting the EXIF?

Hmm, I wonder if my monitor is too bright, they're quite clear on mine. It's bushes and trees and whatnot on the far shore.
Well I'm really disappointed with myself this time.
I did get out and shoot a few but I wasn't really happy with the results. I was driving back to Southampton from Cornwall on Sunday night and the sunset was epic but I was so tired after a hectic weekend that I couldn't bring myself to stop and shoot it.
I'm now kicking myself but I think I was also a bit dejected after seeing so many awesome entries this month.
Bring on reflections, I'll try harder this time!
