Tonight I have been......

Yup, I'm a trucker, I also know that many people don't like cars in lanes 1 & 2 due to the deep ruts in the road caused by HGV's like mine, this is probably why he was sat where he was.

Situations are often not what you think they are at first glance.

but its just the rules. if people drove by the lane rules our roads could be as civilised as those on mainland europe

i drive in lane 1 if im not over taking and due to the suspension geometry on mine etc it tramlines like a bugger... i suppose you just have to pay attention to your driving. is that an inconvenience too?

i definate hoon as to drive fast... so, yeah

Knobs on the motorway can drive fast racing to Costa coffee between meetings in their rep machines. Thats not really hooning.

Seems this time you weren't racing to Costa but the rest seems pretty correct?

I'd define hooning on a motorway as an instant ban if you're caught.

However, hooning on a country lane is a totally different kettle of fish. Also you will mostly be under the speed limit depending on the amount of twisties ;)

yah, mostly ill hoon on a good b road (tbh, i never hoon, im only speaking about experiences other people have told me about..) but on an empty motorway you can have a little bit of fun. i was getting bored of 75-80mph after 150 miles so put my foot down a bit

Motorway driving is tedious. I was really giving it some down some tight twisty country lanes and I didn't break the limit once ;)

youve lost me there

a) it was a sunday night/monday morning, i had no meetings
b) coffee shop open at 1am
c) racing

schmoking schum good schpliff eh?

Simple

Driving fast does not equal hooning. I cant think of anything more boring that going out to 'hoon' a car around the M25.

I was out for a blat in the Westfield Friday night, Sat night, Sunday night (convoy of 9 Westfields on a pub tour) and came in it to work today. 500 miles and £60 quids worth of fuel in a single weekend of blatting - good times :-)

That's hardly "giving it some" then is it? Unless you have a car that handles like a shopping trolly with an asthmatic 1.1 engine.
