Are your temps up as a result of this hot weather?

The warm weather has crashed my system heh! :p

After a spot of trouble-shooting it turns out to be my DDR2-666 memory which has been running flawlessly at DDR2-1200 (2.06v) for the past several months.

The memory isn't borked as its runs error free again at night once things cool down again!. I'm quite suprised as the sticks don't get that warm and have a 80mm Sharkoon SE 2000 blasting down on them!

Oh well, made a new profile that runs the memory at DDR2-1000 (1.82v) for daytime use until I can work out a way to cool the sticks better! :D

My CPU temps have only gone up 3 degrees (massive IFX-14 has something to do with that I think :D), GPU is another issue. Was seeing load temps of 65,66,81,94 now they're at 83,83,91,109

Just curious to see how many folks temps have jumped a bit with all this fantastic weather we are having at the moment?.

My C2D E6300 @ 3.2Ghz with an Arctic Freezer 7 Pro usually sits at around the 40-44 deg mark during normal usage/web browsing but over the past few days its jumped up a bit to around 48 deg. Probably due to the ambient room temp being higher because of the sun streaming through the windows?!!. :D

Anyone else noticed a jump in temps?.

I got the same cpu as you @3.0GHZ and the temp has gone up by 3-5c
now at 31c time to crank the fan up I think

My 720BE just keeps itself at about 2-3c above ambient, so yeah, slightly warmer, but the room it's in doesn't get a huge amount of direct sunlight and it's still around the 40-45c mark at load. Nothing I'm going to worry about anytime soon :-)

Yeah my temps have went up over 10 degrees, my pc's is in the loft & the rooms freezing in the winter but red hot in the summer
Was experimenting with overclocking my pc yesterday but temps went over 80 degrees so i had to leave it & put things back to stock for the time being :(

My Q6600 @ 3.5 is idling at 67c :p

Since I've taken my watercooling out, I havent bothered to sort out the voltage and cooling :o Think I might do it tonight.

Mine are up about 3-4C, however when running at 100% CPU and GPU load all the time, even that can make a huge difference to overall temps and the room temp :/

Yep :p It's less the effect of the ambient on the PC and more the effect of the PC on the ambient! System seems to be holding up so far - quad at 60/59/54/55 and GPU at 56 - so I'm folding on :)

gets to about 31 degrees ++ in here!! rather tropical acturaly. haha and thats with the window open!! this pc throws out the heat combined with the hot sun comming in!! temps have went up a fare bit on the cpu and GPU under the watercooling, sometimes i get corruption with the GPU overclock when i play GTA IV with all my fans set to low when i forget to turn them up. gets VERY toasty in here!!

60c idle yesterday even after backing down to 3.0ghz & undervolted on the spec in sig :s
