you'll need to call o2 to get the BlackBerry Bolton / tariff. If your friend's bold is on O2 and you are also on O2 then you won't probably need to call anyone to get the PIN freed. You only need to do that if your friend has a very old (3 years) BIS account on the device or if you're swapping networks.

Hi guys,
I called O2 today, and they say they can't swap the bolton. They said that my unlimited web bolt-on will always remain and i will have to pay £10 for the BIS...:( What can i do?
 
hii cqlled them twice today, both said the samethings. Because im on cpw o2 its not thesame as normal o2, so they say i cant change my bolt on without paying 10 pm extra.
 
yes, i have to call cpw, my contract is with them you see. I will try going to a cpw store, see what they say. Sorry about the last few posts, been typing with my phone..
