The Electronic Entertainment Expo 2009

lol at that Damage control post, Silly fanboy doesn't even know Sony are making the PS3 last 10 years.

Don't be ridiculous. The new one's out next year, and will be 20x more powerful than the 360. It can also train woodland creatures to do the housework.

Its all about movies atm. Seem like ubisoft are working on the Avatar film and generally expanding into that department.

MS should show Ubisoft how its done, the Ubi conference seemed pretty dire to me. Gone through a lot of the info from all the pressers last night got a few questions i cant find answers too.
Is Forza 3 and Halo ODST the only MS games shown that are out this year?
What platforms is APB coming to?
Is Splinter Cell still coming to PC? Seen it listed as but not heard it re-confirmed.
Fav games shown so far Splinter Cell and the Star wars MMO that looks like an mmo i may actually enjoy. Loved the intro for Beatles Rockband looked very beatle esque lol.
Seen the price for the natal thing was estimated at $200! Cant be true just a finger in the air figure i guess but i dont think it will be less than $100. Think it looks far more impressive as a tool for the NXE, wonder if they'll have some kinda virtual keyboard or speech recognition for sending messages/twitter etc. Not sold on it being "gaming" revolution with the perfect controller, it didnt look that perfect to me early days its got a year or so before it comes out. Its goot great potential would like to see what more devs will do with it apart from making some scary kid or MS paint.

Just so people know, it seems gamespot turn the streaming links into full videos after the conference has finished. So those who missed the conferences can now watch them with the links provided.

Pretty much, I guess this is why they have shown what's coming early next year as well, since they only usually show off what is coming out for the rest of the year (at E3 anyway).

They do have other exclusives such as Splinter Cell, but not from their own studios, but is it really surprising with Bizarre Creations and Bungie splitting from them and Ensemble being shutdown?

The only other 2 studios I can think of is Lionhead and Rare, but they had a release each last year with Fable 2 and Banjoe Kazooie.

Microsoft are really kicking the crap outta everyone, if project natas works they we its displayed then thats the wii kicked in the nuts, spat on and feed to it's ancestors, i said i'd hate motion sensitive on the 360 (i like my controller) but the way it's been implemented is, well, excellent and looks so well integrated.

halo ODST i was always going to like, it looks a bit more humanesque and less purposeful in movement and the story is probably going to be quite well done if the halo series/books is anything to go by, added to that Halo: Reach i imagine will follow the events in the book (The Fall of Reach, which, in my opinion is one of the better ones in the series).

i wish microsoft would just come out with windows explorer lite/360 and get it done with, it's nice to see facebook and twitter coming to the 360 but can't we have it so the 360 can go to them (if you follow my meaning ;)). having said that it's obvious in it's intent to cement the xbox as a part of the furniture as opposed to a geeky, hardcore gaming machine but whether it will work in the long run is something to be seen (this along with family games (lips/RB/GH) and natal certainly wont hinder it).
