I purchased an iPod adapter for my car in December from an online retailer for around £80. The product is covered by a 1 year warranty. Last week, the adapter began malfunctioning. I confirmed it was broken by replacing it with a friend's identical unit.
I have been in contact with the retailer/manufacturer, who are saying that they can only offer me a replacement product. Having decided that the product's quality isn't great to say the least, I would prefer a refund. Am I entitled to one, or do warranties only cover for direct replacement?
Thanks
