Need help. Gotta buy a close female friend's 21st B-day present.

Ok, maybe I'm just a crap friend, but I'm really unsure what to get her for her 21st. This is girl is like my sister and I'm actually struggling for ideas.

Last year I got her her favourite port, Taylor's special reserve. But this year, with it being her 21st, I've got to get her something special.

She has a BF, who is also one of my close friends, so Jewellery is out of the question. She hasn't hinted at anything clothes wise she'd want. I even had the cheek to ask her for ideas, to which she replied "surprise me."

Any serious suggestions OCUK?

Depending on how much you're looking to spend, perhaps a spa/pampering day for her and someone, or one of those experience day gift things?

Well, you can go down the sensible route and get her something to with a hobby.

Or you can go down the wacky route and get here something like a inflateable chair shaped like Obama.

My personal suggestion would be something like a day doing some kind of activity, like a day at a Spa or a Race Track.

Did that last year. It's only how I knew about the port, when the three of us were living together.

She's into her green tea and loves coffee. I was going to get her a coffee making thing, but then I thought about whether buying kitchen utensils will make her happy.

You can buy a tea brewing pot, if she doesn't have one, or go to some asian supermarket and get some green tea. Stay away from bagged tea, it is always horrible at best, and at worst clears your bowls... the natural way...

What about a nice framed photo with her and you or her and you with your friends and some flowers?

My friend got a picture of her with her friends on a bench, its of their backs and they are looking over a loch and it was blown up to a canvas and she loved it.

No idea, I was thinking of the Homer Simspon ones and then Obama popped into my head.

However I am now determined to find one. I suppose I could always put a Homer Simpson one in Black Face....
