Re-playing FF VII **Warning - Spoilers**

Flamethrower can be learned in Mythril caves (if it's not too late).

And when you get the boat to Costa Del Sol, on the beach manipulate a beach plug, and wonder at the goodness which is big guard ;)

I always try and breed a gold chocobo as early as possible so I can get Knights of The Round :D

I REALLY want to play this...hope I get my PS3 soon and it comes out on download..sold my copy last year!

Just played it. Some got to the top and I beat them in battle, didn't get anything for it though... Should I??

I think you do get some random stuff, but best of all is the mandatory game you have to do during Disc 2.

Play it until you get a magic comb, iirc you have to stop everyone getting to the top. You should try and do it as often as possible throughout the game until he says something along the lines of there being no more enemies, you get some really good items at certain points in the game.

Also, go the the forests to the north of the fort and keep fighting mobs, eventually you'll get a... surprise. It takes a while but its worth it.

Yep it takes even longer if you select the wrong lines, but it is funny and highly worth it at this point in the game though.

I'm on a boat to the costa del sol, just filled in sephiroths monster thing in the engine room. Have I gotten ahead of myself?? :(

Pretty much, but then if you fight a lot in any forest area and with some luck, you'll encounter it.

One of the important things you can miss out is barrets final weapon near the end of disc 2. Its in a box in the area before you fight sephiroths 'father'

Noooo, Just lost to a boss for the first time :(

The giant wall thing in temple of the ancients, damn game forcing me to use Aeris.

I remember one time I could not get past that boss because my characters weren't powerful enough and so it was a gamebreaker for me. Had to start all over again but at least I learn't my lesson.
