Which looks the most promosing. I'd have to say NATAL in terms of Tech. Wii Motion Plus and the Sony Motion Controller are pretty much the same thing.

It's good that you riked them robert.

[EDIT] For christs sake, ninja edit again, stupid rob.

Natal > PS3 dildos > Wii Dildos

Which will i buy: None.

I was making the thread then had to go do something else. Didn't think anyone else would have made another one. :D

Ninja edit.

If Natal works as it should, I would simply enjoy telling my 360 to switch on, being able to "flick" thru films rentals etc etc, that would be pretty cool without even having to touch anything like a controller.

Wii Motion Plus should have been in the controller from the start. I wont be buying it no matter what great game HAS to have it.

Natal is good because of the software side. I like that is like Surface in the way it can recognise stuff.

Sony's thing looks uber accurate and could bring light guns to LCD if you get what I mean. I miss House of the Dead and I'm not playing it on the Wii.

Natal I think has the most potential for new IP.. Sony Bedroom Toy is a nice upgrade from Wii motes and we know what they can do.. and lastly the original, and slightly out of date now Wii mote.. :)

FAR too early to judge.

Got to agree, the wii motion plus is pretty much known tech at present, the hands on demos ive read about Natal says its good but needs work also it has a 5 frame capture time so may not work for some fast paced games but as tech goes its top of the tree. The Sony Wand seems to be the most accurate one off all 3 and also works well in 3d also seemed super responsive, again to early to tell exactly how good/bad it will be.

NATAL

Then the PS3

Wii might as well give up and accept that they are still just a game console for over 70s :p

How does Natal work? It would have to be some pretty advanced technology for it to recognise and follow all your hand movements just by camera.

Wiimote Plus or PS3 thing for me. I think ultimately you need something to hold and some physical buttons for gaming. Natal is nice but I think voice recognition will be pants when it is finally released and that Minority stuff control interface is nice in movies but will not be very practical.

Hopefully PS3 thing will be cheap as half/most of the hardware tech is already in the available cameras (which I have already).

Having said that I will never realistically buy one of these unless it was free with a game or something.

Natal probably won in tech, and cu3ed's idea seems like the right way to implement it - in general usage, like menus, and quick sessions without having to pick up the controller. I just can't think of any games where it would benefit the player to use it. However, walking into the house and then just a quick gesture at the 360 to start it up and play music straight off would be pretty cool.

I do like the idea of the PS3 motion controller. The way it works seems inherently better than the Wiimote, in that it can be pointed directionally, making it more useful for things like the 3D applications they demonstrated. I can imagine it working quite well for that "LBP racer" thing (don't know the title, feed cut out before it started, only caught it halfway through). FPS shooters with it looked really cool, but it didn't look very plausible as a controller replacement, like how sixaxis doesn't really replace the pad as a driving wheel. Still looked nice though, and would be cool holding two at once for two guns, pointing in different directions.

Doubt I will buy any, never bought a Wii but used my sister and its just too casual.

Bought an Eyetoy used it for a few weeks and sold it, it was limited to what it did, I think the next next gen console will be better suited to Natal and Sony motion.

If MS can get Natal working with Fifa or Fight Night, would be cool and could possibly swing me into buying it.

I think you scan your body into it, kinda like when you see developers showing a football with the black suit on and the big balls.

I would love the Natal motions involved around the 360 controller.

Imagine say Modern Warfare you did use the controller for walking about aiming shooting etc etc, but to put on night goggles you waved over your face, or in the mutiplayer where you want the air strike to take place you point to it on the map, same for weapon selection grenade throwing etc etc.

Stuff that doesnt mean a lot of movement, but a lot for interaction
