No it isn't, its a spinoff title of metal gear, big deal, Metal Gear Solid 2 was out on xbox, a main series title.

FFXIV is the big hitter title of this E3!

This still confuses me? We all knew Sony had the next SE MMRPG locked down (multiplat with the PC). How is it a big deal?

The 360 had FFXI and there was no fuss.
 
I thought Sony's was better. Natal looked good for the games they demonstrated, racing and football, but I can't think of anything it would actually be useful for. A gimmick, yes, but no new concepts, besides that dinosaur smashing game (oh come on.. :p). Sony's thing looked better, even though it requires you to hold something. The FPS mode actually looked pretty good, although I doubt it will replace pads in the end (gimmick), but the other options, specifically the 3D stuff, looked pretty cool.

The rest of it was a toss-up for me. I've got a PS3 so only that concerns me, but 360 looked to have a good lineup of games, so I can't slate either.

Although I really wasn't expecting FF14. Big surprise, and PS3 exclusive :D Not sure about the online bit, I'm hoping it still has a single player story, with online play, not an MMO. Although if it IS an MMO, I hope it's subscription free (or cheap and payable through PSN).

Shaped up to be a good E3, now we just have to wait for everything to release :D

A metal gear game on PSP that actually looked really good.
Final Fantasy 13 and 14
GT5 was on there but no date still.
God of war 3
Uncharted 2
A new Wii mote type controller that works with eye toy(Its superior to wii mote)
Team ICOs new game (I forget the name)
MAG - 250ish players online all at once, And they showed a demo with all players connected, Looks really good.
Assassins Creed 2
A crazy racer game at the end that was similar to mario karts, and also looked good fun
Oh and GT on the PSP, With a nervous wreck speaking
