Dont see the point in arguing who won. None of the games have been released yet and half of whats on show will end up dissapointing or being over hyped.

I'd bet the best games turn out to be the dual format titles, so everyone wins. Well apart from the gay wavy arm club.

I never really buy into hype and normally don't even look at whats coming up just judge each game as it comes.

Neither list of games would have me rushing to buy a system if I didn't have it. Lots of promise in both lists.

Seeing as both the god of war franchise and the Ico franchise hold several places in my top 10 games of all time list, i think i'm well within my rights to get hyped about them :p

my feelings-

Yaay more Mario Galaxy. Its sad but Nintendo can drip feed me games like this every couple years and I will continue to buy their consoles over and over again.

Lots to look forward to from all 3 platforms methinks. :D

I was actually quite impressed with the wands, the motion tracking on them seemed phenomenal, and the augmented reality stuff was cool, he seemed to make a point that they would like to implement the use of them into core games as well as casual games which was interesting, when the demonstrator started using them to write with and Trenton explained that they could track your movements down to the millimetre I was very impressed.

If they had joysticks on them i would have been interested, but as it stands you're still confined to one space/moving on rails. Imagine that sword game they had made, but one of the wands had a joystick for movement. Instant zelda! ;p

Agreed, was just talking to mate about this very thing, they really need have an analogue stick integrated on them so that they are effective in modern 'core' game environments.

I agree, they need joysticks, one on each stick. You can turn/aim with one, move with the other, and attack by moving the wands about.

This is why I prefer the look of the PS3 motion controller. It's practical for games. Natal is smart, but I can't see it being so smart so as to recognize your thumb moving as a joystick, or what angles your hands are pointing at.

Those "wands" were just prototypes. So they could well add a joy stick to one of them. From what i could tell the sony tech is a mix of nintendo's wiimote and ms's natal. They seem to have the motions of the wiimote but the camera tracks the end of the wand so its very acturate. He also knelt down when using the bow and arrow and his charactor knelt on screen i belive so it tracks your body also.

Need to see more of it.

now I've had time to think things through and digest what i've seen over the last two days I've come to this conclussion;
Exactly the same as last year, happy with what Microsoft shown, Sony makes me want a PSP (still havebt got one after last year tho) but they still havent done enough to warrant me buying a PS3, I still have no interest in Nintendo (it may even be last after this years yawn-fest).

Not that anyone cares, but that is my opinion (and I still stand by the scores I posted earlier).

I don't suppose anyone has details on the FF7 upload on PSN?

e.g

Will it be for both US and EU stores?
Any idea of price?
Any idea of time?

The psp go is smaller than i thought. Shame it looks like you will snap your left thumb using the d pad. But cant be any worse than the normal psp surely.
