Had it on my PSP for a while now, the screen has the perfect resolution for playing it and the controls work very well on the handheld.
Still, the thought of having it on the hard drive is very tempting...

ALL PS3s can play PS1 discs, not just 60gb. Oh, and DO IT

Most people don't, so I wouldn't worry too much

One thing that has also interested me is the fact that non ps2-BC PS3s can still create PS2 memory cards. Hmmmmm...

Just a question how do i go about buying this ? I've no idea how to buy stuff from the US store. Is it possible from UK machine ?

The eu playstation store team have said its on the way so you might as well wait a little bit longer.

If you do not want to wait then your best bet is buying a psn card off a us based game site which emails you the code.
Make a new account but choose US and put it in a fake address.

Is there any performance issues when playing this on remotre play?
I ask because i might want to play it sometimes on my PS3 and sometimes on my PSP and want to use the same save, so was thinking, well i could just use remote play, but does that make it not as good or what?

Technically Remote Play is just a Sony method of remote connection to the PS3 (like RDP, VNC etc). So Bandwidth/ping/connection type etc will have the biggest factor. There is a few settings you can mess around with on the PSP to improve it though.

It is 3 discs on PS1. The download is 1.2gb
