File browser for Nokia 5800

Hi,

Is there such a thing as a network file browser for this phone?

Basically an app which I can use when I'm on my home WiFi to connect to my PC and browse the files/stream music etc?

I haven't tried it in a while but have you seen Orb? Works through your phone's web-browser, IIRC.

I'm using this at the moment, which, while it works for streaming music, is a bit of a pain when it comes to copying larger files/whole folders across, since it goes out t'internet and back.

there is a program avil called SymSMB. it not realy made anymore. but if you look you might be able to find it, If you can track down a verson thats not signed, and you can sign it yourself with s603rdSigner

SymSMB allows your phone to connect to a local lan it obtains an ip from your router and you can setup users/groups with or without passwords and share a folder on your phone/mem card accessable via your pc

its just like browsing a network share on another computer

brilliant for transfering music to my phone via my laptop \\myphone\memcard
