KTM 950 Adventure buying

Looking at buy a 04 950 adventure,any owners out there? Or advice?

Ive got the 950 engine and its the only bike that seems to have any 'soul' youll know once you ride it

Do it Cracking bikes in every way! I really enjoy my 950 (SM).
Just thinking about it makes me grin, but firing it up makes me grin even more

i managed to work at KTM HQ in Austria for a month in the summer when i was younger. shame they weren't producing cars back then

As for advice, there are plenty of "known issues" but each one has a known and permanent fix available. Check out http://ktm950.info - the site is a bit ghetto but the contents are invaluable

Tri County KTM in Bracknell have an "Open day" on Saturday. Might be worth popping along to, plenty of KTMs available to demo

One of the best sites around is adventurerider.com. Loads of KTM info there.

Seems early 950's have there share of problems usually involving the engine/coolant system. Nearly bought one myself some time ago...... when I had lust for a 950 Super Enduro
