Freedom of speech doesn't mean Muslims (or anyone else) can stand in the street calling for people to be beheaded - because that is incitement to murder and rightly illegal. There are necessarily limits on free speech. Even then, we don't deport British born people (deport to where?!) for breaking that law.

Do you support a policy to deport the BNP and all their supporters? ;)

I don't support a policy to deport any british citizen ('voluntarily' or otherwise), but if you think the BNP's deportation policies are ok with the way they were targetted, why would similar policies based on politics be unacceptable? After all, you can't choose your race, but you can choose your politics...

Hatter The Mad did not say he would deport the BNP voluntarily, he would do it whether they liked it or not - that's the difference - obvious one would have thought but perhaps not? ;)

But one voluntarily supports the British Facist Party, thus can be deported "voluntarily" for supporting the British Nazi Party. You can't choose to be a white or coloured skinned, you can choose to be a neo-Nazi and face the consequences of that.

It still boils down to enacting Nazi policies yourself, which makes you a Nazi. Isn't that ironic? ;)

I don't know if there is a British Fascist party, or British Nazi party, but neither of those is the BNP. This is a slur in order to deter decent people from voting for the BNP, who quite rightly don't want to vote for a Nazi party.

The main parties don't listen unless the BNP gets votes ;) It's been shown time and again.

Arguably that's a bit of a leap if you're suggesting the main parties will not listen even if one of the other more minor parties (those with a limited number of issues they campaign on) gets a sufficient proportion of the votes (roughly equivalent to whatever the BNP have previously garnered) but would only listen to the BNP - one problem is that we don't know yet whether the main parties will listen to other smaller parties, another problem is that I'm not at all convinced I'd want other parties to react to or fall in line with the BNPs policies on race.

Can you explain how they aren't making the country worse? I see it falling apart in almost all aspects - education, health, economy, armed forces etc etc.
Yeah because you probably read the daily mail, truth is that labour aren't making any changes but then again, we aren't getting any better or worse. Going steady.

thats very offensive. last time i checked people didnt come in blue or green

Why vote BNP? Facism is just communism's retarded brother. If you want a protest vote there's UKIP (If you are right wing) or the greens (If you're a tree hugging hippy). All the other fringe partys are a bit loopy.

Maybe Labour and Gordon Brown aren't quite as terrible as we think.

UK's economy is 'best in Europe'

The UK is in the best shape out of all the economies in Europe, according to a leading economist.

Paul Krugman, who won the 2008 Nobel prize for economics, said that the UK's economic policies had been "pretty good" and called them "intelligent".

The government also deserved more credit for its policies, he said in an interview with The Observer newspaper.

His comments come at the end of a week when the pound has risen to its highest level this year.

But Professor Krugman believes the earlier fall in the value of sterling may have helped the UK.

"The UK has achieved a lot of monetary traction in the way that no one else has through the depreciation of the pound. In effect, you've carried out a successful beggar-my-neighbour devaluation," he said.

"I think the UK economy looks the best in Europe at the moment."

The government's policies had managed to stabilise the banking system, he said.

He added: "If the government can hold off having an election until next year, Labour might well be able to run as 'we're the people who brought Britain out of the slump'."

Once again though DD, we'd be in an even better position if Brown had been fiscally responsible for the last 10 years...

We should have our debt under control by 2030 apparentl, so that's reassuring. Borrowing massively to soften the current crisis in the hope of getting himself re-elected. Gordon Brown; Not flash, just reckless and incompetent.
