Well here's my vid from last weeks trip to the Nurburgring. Managed a 10min 15sec lap in my trusty standard 1.8 115bhp Astra SXi. Excuse the poor quality as it was recorded on my mates Nokia N95. The driver of the Pug estate was an arse and I fully expected him to bin it, so stayed back a bit at the start until I had a clear chance to overtake and make sure he didnt take me out. Also I had hardly any brakes at all for the lap as I cooked them over the trip.

Also here's what my brakes looked like after the lap

Disks were warped, scored and had some hairline cracks, and the pads were down to the metal! I could put my foot to the floor and it wouldnt lock up, which was worrying considering I aint got abs

I'm afraid I don't have a gmeter or any evidence so I don't expect the time to get put up but I reckon I fair pretty well on my GSX-R600!

I went to the Nurburgring a couple of weeks ago and was doing about 9m laps BTG, first time there, did 4 laps.

Obviously my 0-60 and 0-100 times are better than all your cars!

However, I will admit my car is a Ford Puma

Heading out to the the Ring on October 17th, not sure if I'll actually be able to time myself officially as I don't have any equipment, but I'll get someone to do it on a watch or something just for fun and post back

did a few more tweaks a few weeks ago. got the previous pb down from 7s to 6.7s. there was a 6.6s run on there but it got lost

Well the only times I have are from Fighting Torque last year in my GT3 which were over 3/4 mile from a standing start so not really much to compare with on here but I am feeling left out!

And I did 5 or 6 runs at the last VMax in the RS4 and it would not pull over 160mph at which speed I crossed the line at 4 times!

+1 for the 'expanded list' idea - would be mucho fun to see less powerful cars bringing up the rear.

Where can I get a G-meter or similar? Are there any available at a reasonable price? I want to get some times in my Scooby.

ive got two sets of times, ones cheating because it was on slicks and gas with everything taken out of the car. Oh and split 45 webers with a diffrent dizzy

1984 Mini (modified):

Slicks and gas:
1/4: 13.1
0-60: 4.2 seconds.

Normall road spec.
1/4: 14.6
0-60: 6.4 seconds if there is enough glue down lol.

Both runs done at santa pod.

Put 118bhp in a 620kg car.
Put 180bhp in a 620kg car on hoosier slicks.

I dont have the tickets from aug of last year when i ran.
Next time ill run is the summer. but with a 320 degree rotation cam, less weight, a baffle tray, and a higher diff ratio.

From then its setup as ill change class with forced induction. parallel rear steer angle and so on.

I used the G-tech in my Saab 9-5 Aero last week, I didnt catch the 0-60.

1/4 mile was 15.26 @ 97.1

It's too hard to launch it, I think with a little more traction and perfect launch a flat 15 would be possible, terminal speed is quite good though.

Got back from the 'Ring yesterday after my first trip over in my ep3 CTR. Did 7 laps in total over the 2 days as it was really busy and shut quite a few times due to a lot of crashes, tho this was half expected due to it being a German holiday weekend. Got some good laps in but wasnt timing myself as I didnt want to try and beat any times and push 2 hard. Got 1 vid of a lap when I had my mate in and out of all of the laps I did that was probably my worst Tho i was a 9min 30 lap so respectable considering I've only had the car 3 weeks and after this trip I've only totalled 20 laps of the track

Havent uploaded the lap online as of yet as it has a few swearies due to crap lines and turning points Gutted I didnt get one of my better laps on camera there's always next year for that tho
