Where can I get one, I need it asap as mine has broken but I do not have the time to wait for online order delivery.

Any highstreet stores likely to sell them in the UK?

Every high street hardware retailer will supply SD card readers. Their websites will tell you both the location of your local store and exactly what your local store has in stock.
