ASUS XONAR PCI

Anyone using this PCI card?, as I do not have a PCi-E X1 slot I would like to know if the PCI card is as good as the Express card.

Not used the pciex one....but i have got the d2 pci one and i can safely say it is awesome....best sound card i have ever owned....and i have had a few

Superb card. Exactly the same as the DX apart from:

a) It is PCI not PCI-E

b) It doesn't need external power

They don't require PCI-E 1x slots, they'll work in any, so if you have a spare 16x slot, you can use the PCI-E Xonars in there.

I never knew that. :confused:

I now have the PCI version installed and I am very pleased with it.
