Howdy,

Some may remember me picking up a 1997 e39 4.4L v8 540i a few years back, for £2500...

That's a £45,000 car - for yup £2500

Well despite the "OMG it will cost the earth to fix banter" the next MOT has been bagged!

The handbrake failed again, plus I needed a new rear tyre because of a nail.

A few quid later and off she goes again.

Sweet.
 
Good news, perhaps reward the car by finally sorting it out so you are not driving around with something that looks like it was involved in an accident then bodged given you have a facelift Sport front and a prefacelift SE rear.

Why spend any more money on an ageing saloon, I understand they are very good cars, but things have moved on since.

Good on the car for passing, leave it as is :)
