A trip to Oxford...

Hi

I'm set to go to Oxford tomorrow morning, From York to Oxford, It seems to be about a 3hr trip there, and back, I was just wondering if anyone here has done a simalar trip? And how did you find the drive to be? Or anything i should be aware of.

Thats pretty much what my tomtom has said for the fastest best route

Not really looking forward to such a long drive

Also might want to set off when people arent going to/coming from work as its Friday afterall

I would personally do M1>A43>M40(for 1 Jct), seems a better route to me usually.

It's tomorrow morning

going to set off around 7:30-8am Im not sure what these roads are like on a saturday morning?? but shall be leaving Oxford around 3pm so again not sure what these roads will be like at these times of the day on a sat.

A quick fresh bump

I'm due to go near oxford again in the morning....Do you think i'm likely to hit any BAD traffic due to silverstone?

I'll be setting off from York around 7:30-8am planning to get there for near 11.

Any words of wisdom would be very much appreciated
