Free one year subscription to Microsoft technet

Same as above ^^ I a just wondering if I would send them a support ticket telling them that when I tried it gave me an error and it wasn't until later I realised that they were showing in the "Product Keys" list that I got more then one and ask them if they could delete all except 1 key sine I not used any of them yet?

You think they would agree to do that, especially since it was a mistake from my side since it told me it was an error and thats why I tried again..

Edit: My account is reinstated as others until 06/02/2010 and I can download and request keys also.

That was not my expereince. When I attempted to generate a key and got the error, it did not generate a key. It only generated a key when I did not get the error. So I do not have multiple keys even though I attempted many many times with the error utill I got a key.

I had the same issue regarding the key error that generated multiple copies. I had between 2 and 8 keys available for the 4 or 5 products that I chose to download and my account was re-instated like others here.

Unless you had between 30 and several hundred keys I doubt they'll take a particular interest considering the huge number of users that have taken advantage of their error.
The best you can do is wait patiently and hope that you're one of the lucky ones to regain the account access.

Mine is still removed. I can confirm I had the error issue, and when I looked at the keys again it had made about 5 come up when I had only really wanted one but never got it. Suppose it looks like I was spamming them for keys now.

They've removed my subscription. Worked minutes ago and now it's removed. I could login under the benefits ID and then downloads and keys were greyed out. I went to manage my subscriptions to see if it still had the June 2010 date, and it acts like I dont have a subscription at all now.

Source for this?

If you go to a shop like Tesco or Asda, wherever, and you pick up a product from a shelf advertised at £1.50, but when the cashier scans it through it comes up as £1.75, they have to sell it to you for £1.50, as that's the advertised price.

Technically this is no different. Microsoft offered you a contract which you signed and agreed to (EULA) for free. It's not your fault so they technically can't take it away from you. However, this is the internet we're talking about, and things never go our way when it coems to these sorts of disputes with large conglomerates on the Internet battlefield.

My account came back with a 1 year subscription and now it is gone again, it's up and down like a fiddlers elbow right now.

I can still login and all keys/downloads are all greyed out.

However, I've just noticed the below:

Hang on, top right of the screen there is a maintenance message saying people won't be able to access benefits package....but the link does not give more details. Maybe it's just down currently for maintenance while they start pruning some stuff?
