OcUK Film Club - Week 1 Nominations

Hi

Ok so as a follow up to the original thread where I pitched the idea of a film club I decided to run with it and see how it goes, so basically this is going to work the same way as the book club. Recommend two films each until there is twenty overall, I will then give the films a number and the first person to answer a film related question and provide a number picks the film with the number they chose. The number can then be swopped once if you are not happy with the choice but the second choice is final. There will then be three weeks to obtain and watch the film and then all feedback, thoughts, opinions, interpretations and general chat can take place regarding the film.

Week 1's film has now been chosen and is: The Pianist (2002), directed by Roman Polanski. The next film will be chosen in three weeks time.

I'll nomiate American Psycho and One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. And now I'll randomize the 20 films and give them each a number and then I'll ask a film related question and the first person to provide the correct answer and a number chooses the film.

Correct, the film you have chosen is 'The Pianist' directed by Roman Polanski (2002).

You can keep that choice or change it to something else if you want to but the second choice is final.
