did i say free bul**** lol i didnt ment to say free i said im getin it of my uncle for £300 for used lol he needs cash for his new son he is quiting the gaming pc and concentrating on his family needs or **** like that lol
Ah okay. So he's bought a chip that's only just come out, for £800, only to sell it again for £300 within a week. Makes complete sense. I mean, why sell it on ebay for £700 when you could sell it to your nephew and have £400 that will be wasted because he hasn't done his research?
Is it just me, or can anybody else smell something?
I've nothing against you spending a lot of money on a PC and I'm not gonna start calling BS because of that (I spent £1600 ex vat on mine, and I'm 15), but to spend £5k on a machine, that will have less performance than a £3k machine that you could get specced here, is completely redundant.
If this really is real, which I 99% doubt it is, drop your spec to £2-3k, and use the extra £2k for something you might actually NEED, or for later upgrades. A £5000 machine might last you 5 years, and when the GT300 and 5870's come out, you'll be behind because you have no money to upgrade. But a £2k machine with £3k worth of upgrades spread out over the years, will keep you up to date, and last you 10 years.
Also, not to mention the fact that you have 3 types of thermal interfacing.
