600ft? Crikey, thats a big crop "circle"

We always used to have crop circles in our fields a few years ago, bloomin nuisance they were. Not only flattened the crops, but then you'd get all these hippies wanting to sit in them, trampling the crops further walking all over the fields.

And for the people who think aliens are involved. Funny how they often used to appear on nights with full mons, and the aliens often used to leave large wooden boards with rop attached :rolleyes:
 
Having read around on the subject for a few years now on and off it seems that some people have made a living out of this subject matter and run excursions and group visits to the circles etc. It has quite big business for some and some people have been involved for 25+ years in investigating them in which they state that 80% of made by humans but some of them could not have been.

One of the oddest ones was the message sent in binary by the 1974 telescope written with the help of Carl Sagan in which in 2001 a crop message near the radio station in Chilbolton was recieved as recordered ad documented here:

Its obvious really as to the answer but two crop circles in 2000 and 2001 were there one a new message and the means of it being transmitted etc. The only major bummer is the fact that the destination for the message was 25,000 light years away and not 27 years, doh.

We can rant and rave all we like but the phenomenon of crop circles if here to stay and seems to fascinate some people to a degree of fanatical denial and belief and in it lies the issue. Its a mystery to some and they will part with money to be part of it.

Interestingly enough Colin Andrews, one of the original researchers back in 1983 to the present had incident and was tasked by the government of writing up reports and working with them. He states that some of the circles were on government land (military) and that access was not available to the hoaxers and so it goes on. A nice few books.

You can see why it captivates people so much especially in the light of people claiming to have seen lights form the cirlces which just adds to the mystery.

Did you know you linked a crop circle to a natural formation on Mars?
The Face On Mars has now been filmed from other angles proving the original photo was a trick of the light which means your link is invalid and therefore man made.

Imagine if you will you are travelling down a country road next to fields of wheat/barley whatever.
You look over and you see people in the field but you wouldn't think anything of it because you are level with them and as far as you know they're farmers.
These circles are only known when the farmer finds it and reports it.
So people have seen lights in a field - well you will need a few torches so you can see what you're doing.
 
On the whole, at the moment I just cant go with the ET reason behind some of the crop circles. I'm willing to accept it eventually , but I require a lot more evidence and certainly more concrete evidence.

It just seems too abstract to me that beings with technology would travel hundreds of light years to reach us, and then spend their time "drawing" cryptic symbols and pictures in fields of crops at certain times of the year. If I was to consider them explorers visiting a new "land" I cant help but end up thinking of explorers I have known of. They didnt arrive at a new land and instead of presenting themselves, snuck in at the dead of night at a certain time of year and draw a picture in the sand before returning to their ship and coming back next year to do the same.

I cant help but think its done for financial reasons, a banksy-esque form of art, or some other human driven reason.

As I say though, I'm willing to keep an open mind but I am definately going to require some much more hard and compelling proof. Thats just the way I am, I need hard evidence for things in life, I'm not one for abstract lines of thought and riddles within riddles.
 
Et just doesn't make any sense are all et's have custom spaceships. I mean every patterns different.

Do all these space ships which are tottaly different to each other all have nice crisp rigid corners, to produce the mega crisp edges.

Thinking they are made by et is crazy there is no logical and no evidence behind a stance.
 
Its just a good laugh and a way for people to meet and make some money and have a bit of a laugh in the wiltshire countryside.

I do not think that anyone is talking spaceships, they seem to be talking balls of light etc. There is a new video 2009 one out now on youtube:


Called New Swirled Order. It interviews the usual suspects and tells of their experiences etc. Its a beautiful part of the country down there and involves a pub called the barge.

I have been to Avebury around mid summers day and its full of hippies and druid types all probably spaced out and having a laff.

Forget the rigid science stuff, its a modern day phenomena and people are enjoying it for what it is. A Mystery.
 
The thing is that crop circle researchers/enthusiasts all gather around the popular spots in groups and patrol the fields and watch from vantage points so if there was a group of 50 people plodding through the field at night creating some of the more complex patterns then they would likely be seen

the formations appear in the same places year after year

one particular instance there were reportedly a few groups of enthusiasts patrolling an area and in the morning a formation appeared.

I don't know, I'd love it to be aliens but who knows for sure?!

It is strange how military helicopters are often seen to hover over the formations as if they are researching it too ...

Why are they conspiracy sites, that is just your interpretation surely. I doubt you can attach a conspiracy against crop circles, that does not make any sense now does it.

Everyone seems to concluding that its ETs if they are not all made by humans for some reason. Researchers seem convinced that not all are made by humans but their insights into what could be creating them are all over the place and hence make no more sense other than them being a mystery. Its just too short sighted and ignorant to say they are all made by humans.

They could be but it seems a little odd about the way the crops are flatenned and their complexity but that does not rule out clever humans with lots of ballbearings and radiation emitters. Sounds very odd though to me for such people who consider themselves artists to be using such equipment.

it's not spooky stuff. They are not natural. The shapes would not be created by natural phanominum.
So that leaves et or human.

The tools needed are not hard to get or work. They use microwave emitters for that very reason to take their art work to a new level of complexity to nudge along the conspiracy reporters.
