Istanbul - TURKEY Grand Prix 2009 - Race 7/17

Earlier Barrichello was talking about losing 7th but the graphics showed 7th gear on the next straight. Not sure why he's retired then.

Now things have settled down, wonder if anyone is actually going to point our to Max Mosley the level of reliability from the current field? 2 out with 6 laps to go. Imagine a field of new entrants achieving that? Quite extraordinary when you think of the late 90's, early part of this century when 5 - 10 would finish.

Vettel having to save engines?... why can't they drive them to death for 1 race then bin them..... I think you'd get better racing that way

Sensible from RBR though, they are going to pick up 14 constructors points, not going to change if they swap over but also there is a risk of landing nil. Close 4 pts on Brawn or fall back 10? It's the only sensible thing to do.

Vettel out of all the drivers has used up quite a few new engines already (4/5) - they can be reused later on but I definitely think hes gonna struggle later in the season...

ps3ud0

Does anyone know how many out of the allowed engines each driver has used up so far?

Cheers

Not sure about other drivers, but I know that the engine that was in JB's car when he won monaco, had won 3 races in a row... if this is its 4th.. I'd be surprised... so I guess he's onto his 3rd engine now, most other drivers prolly onto 4th
