Well its a website I use a lot for orders and im sure if you take two seconds to think about my previous post you'll know the website and that they are completely trustworthy, just strange getting the email, but hey no harm done, no charge and a free patern woo...

are you absolutely possitive its an identical email adress to that which amazon usualy use?

Yup just actually checked and it's the same one they use for their deals of the week, sales etc. Must have been sent to me in error.

I think this is the worst coded game I've seen in ages.
Scrolling is awfully jerky on my rig - a 4GB 3.7ghz dual core with a 1GB 4870. Looking at the official forums, it seems that the game is plagued with issues at the moment.

I thought I had lost days of work last night when the game CTD during a save. After reloading the game my save was no where to be found. Luckily I had done a system backup an hour ago so I only lost a few hours of progress.

Are any ATI owners getting graphical glitches like me? So far all tree's appear as green glowing blobs, and npc hairstyles render incorrectly.

Yeah I'm ATI and I get a fair few glitches, spikes coming out of bits of clothing and terrain, trees glitching through walls. The game goes really jerky when I try and scroll around town as well.

damn u cant drown the sims in the pool anymore by deleting the ladder... they can just get out :/

I played for a few hours yesterday and it crashed to desktop without any warning (using 4870x2), lost everything.

Been playing all morning with GTX280 plugged in and game seems to run much more smoothly and with no glitches and no crash yet (fingers crosses).

BTW guys is it possible to kill other sims (AI ones)? do you need criminal career or something or is not possible?

It's a very common issue

No real fixes mentioned yet apart from the usual 'check/update your gpu drivers etc'

Indeed, so annoying. Can't believe a game this big doesn't have autosave. Would be so simple to have it save at the end of each day

Lost about 3 hours of gameplay first time it crashed, been more careful since.

I doubt very much that is possible seeing as the game is 3+ (I think)?

The funnyest thing was when a nabour killed my sims in the orginal sims. They fell asleep infront of the ladder and my sim drowned.

i couldn;'t beleive it tbh!

People could die in sims 1 due to fire etc though.

Anyone experiencing System reboots while playing?

Mrs Moo has had this a couple of times.

Have disabled restart on system failure to see if generates any error messages.

Error logs dont point to anything, just report an enexpected reboot

Windows 7 v7100 and Latest Radeon drivers for a 4850.

Yep once, mostly just crashing to the desktop though. So fed up of buggy pc games

Anyone else find the fastest speed isn't very fast at all? I'm enjoying the gameplay, but getting fed up with the age spent waiting for them to sleep or go to work.
