****SIMS 3****

1st impressions

omfg, its been how many years, i have a new computer new screen and they still havent managed to fix this game causing screens to HISS with ati cards
 
Im quite enjoying it :)

I echo the feelings that its VERY easy to progress up the career lader and the 'ultra' fast setting aint that fast :(

Just for reference, i played for about 4 hours yesterday (also had it minimised for a few hours when watching tv) and played a couple hours today with no crashes or glitches what so ever :)

Thats on a e6600 at 3.3, windows 7 7100 x64, 8800gt overclocked :)
 
Is it possible to kill or get rid of a baby? or toddler I might add. Mines getting on my nerves and I can't even leave the house without the whiney tart screaming!
 
Getting a bit bored of walking around going swimming and jogging etc just wanna bang erin across the road and get things rockin' :confused:
 
It is intresting how there is such an aparant need/want to try and screw a particular women in a simulated game really. And i dare say there is more people who have picked a "target/s" who have not said.
 
Any hole is a goal. I've done both my female maids so far. I need to invite a few of these romantic interests around and tell them I only want to be friends since I'm now engaged, could get messy if one of my maid lovers walks in on some WooHoo with the missus. :p

(this happened in a previous game and the maid got angry, went downstairs and broke my kitchen sink!)

hahah, can you actually tell rthem you wana be friends or you just gota be an arse? lol.

Also do sims usualy go find something to break when really angry? sink is a lil odd haha, sure it wernt coincidence?
 
Got this yesterday and played it for a little while - much better then the second one but i do feel slighty ripped off as there are hardly any furniture and hairsyles/clothes.

Anyway, technical issue - I've got a 4870x2 and when i turn edge smoothing on , the sims hair goes see through (basically looks bald) and the tress don't display properly?!

Anyone else got this problem?

Yarp :( At least I know what causes it now too. Tree's are borked in my game as well as hair... The 9.5 Cats made no difference either.

Its under the "Mean" category of interactions. :D

Friend bar thing goes right down to 0 and they become just an acquaintance and hate you a whole bunch but I'm such a smooth talker a couple of apologies later and they're my friend again. ;)

She walked in on me and this asian bird doing the "Woo Hoo", jumped up and down, mumbled something then went downstairs and did something to the sink and left without cleaning the rest of the house! :eek:
