Mikay I think you are a little confused. Most of the Crown Jewels originate from a LONG time before we colonised India.
The only item "stolen" from India is the Koh-i-noor diamond, which in actual fact was handed over to the East India Company as a part of the ratification of the Treaty of Lahore.
Certainly it can be said this one diamond was stolen from India but to say the Crown Jewels were is daft at best.
Actually I'm going home to Australia later this year.But I will have been here for almost 5 years by then, and I've paid my fair share of tax.

This. I'm here as a student currently so not exactly an immigrant, but have access to nothing except for NHS. Which i've used about twice in my 4 years since it's just slow and I end up going back to India by the time my appointment comes up.
Not only that, but I am paying about 4 times the price for uni than locals. So there is hardly an argument for 'not contributing' since I pay more than the locals, pump in money into the economy by spending on everyday things and recieve nothing except for a hardly used NHS.
And for the thing regarding the crown jewels - the english took the kohinoor diamond from India. As far as i'm aware, that's the only part of the crown jewels that are from India.
Im sure its not a stupid paragraph for the native ameican indians, or the native south africans etc.
Like i said its easy forget isnt it, just how in 10 years time something else is going to be history etc lets just forget about it its in the past. Yes he raped a child 10 years ago but he can babysit that child now becuase it was in the past. I know the jews havent forgotten what people like the likes of the BMP have done

Why do you want to punish new generations for things that happened decades and centuries before they were even born. it is not sensible, logical or a reasonable argument.
