Looking for a French translation of:

"Device Locked - Press centre button three times quickly to unlock"

"Device Unlocked"

"TomTom Postcodes"
 
Le devicer UNLOCKED!!! AAAaaaaa we le surrender

Device unlocked: 'L'Artifice ouvert'

TomTom Postcodes: 'code postal à tomtom'

Device locked...'L'Artifice fermé. Appuyez sur le bouton de centre trois fois vite pour ouvrir.'​

But my French isn't great.

"Appareil verrouillé - Poussez le bouton centre trois fois rapidement pour déverrouiller"

Though that sounds a bit clumsy...

Maybe:

"Appareil verrouillé - Tappez le bouton centre trois fois en succession pour déverrouiller"

"Appareil déverrouiller"

"Code Postales TomTom"

Surely you mean ""Appareil déverrouillé"...?

...and the verb 'taper' only has one p ;)

Personally I prefer 'appuyer' to 'taper'.
 
Thanks for the corrections - it's so easy to get things wrong when you don't concentrate. You're absolutely right Gareth. :)

I said taper as I presumed it was a touch screen, if not then appuyer would fit nicely too - in ATMs in France they use both verbs - it's a question of style I guess.

Bouton central is what I meant to write. :o I was obviously thinking "bouton au centre" or something like that. Thinking in 2 languages really screws with your head! IT's quite hard actually, as I'm reading things in English and having to write in French...

I'm going to give up being French I seem to struggle to get it right these days :o
