It seems it's cheaper to buy 5 checks for £25 than just 1 for £20, I only need one but would it be allowed if I offered the remaining checks on the forum at £5 a time?

If you just need one, do it on the RAC website, it's only £9.99 and its a pretty good one.

Doubt selling outside the MM would be allowed.

In terms of the data provided, there is none. The RAC product is a rebranded HPI check and uses the same databases.

The main difference is that the official HPI Check come with additional data like CO2 ranking (wow!) and a larger indemnity. Historically the RAC product didn't come with an NMR check but it seems to now, so personally I don't think the HPI Check is worth the premium.

I did 2 checks on the bike. The first was a £5.99 check using autocheck.co.uk. The data it returned was correct in terms of it recorded the Cat C status of the bike, but the date was showing as 2037.
I then did an RAC check which had the correct date.

I'd avoid the cheaper ones.

HPI one comes with a weeks free insurance. A factor a lot of people on these boards fail to take into consideration.

In effect, you're paying £10 for the check, and £10 for insurance. Handy if you want to drive the car back home after buying it.
